This morning I woke-up around 8 and had 2 mini blueberry muffins. I went outside to what everybody else was doing. Guess what, they were working with the jellycam. I went over to Dan  and he asked me if I wanted to do the jellycam thing. I forgot what happened next but I had Dan’s floppy hat on and the walkie talkie in my hand and I WAS IN CONTROL OF THE JELLYCAM (scary thought isn’t it?)! They said I had to be sarcastic when I talked on it, they said I was pretty good at it. I got to bring the jellycam up and it was so cool. After my 15 minutes of fame I went to the front of the boat and looked for jellyfish. Right before lunch Dr. Graham had a sexton. It is a navigational tool. He said that what you do is you find the horizon through the viewfinder thing, and go slowly left until you can see the sun. It is the neatest thing! After lunch we took the little boats and went looking for jellyfish. They needed 20 jellies…we got 9. Oh well, but we had a good time anyway. We saw a huge manta ray jump out of the water, it was so cool ( I say “It was so cool” a lot because everything is so cool)! We got a little bored because we weren’t seeing and jellies so we drove underneath the boat, it was so awesome! After that I did some more water samples for nutrients and chlorophyll. That afternoon I was looking at the microscope and John asks me if I wanted to see some slides. It was so neat to see something that close up. It wasn’t s little dinky microscope that I’m used to that’s in the classroom. It was so cool. That night, Yantzee, Jo, Emily, and I played poker and dominoes until around 10. I won at dominoes but I lost badly at poker, the best thing I had that whole night was 2 pairs.
